Enjoy minimal peeling with 4-5 large cloves per bulb – convenient for food prep. These cloves have a rich, strong and garlicky flavor and smell; spicy and robust when consumed raw. This hardneck variety Stores well for 4-9 months when fully and properly cured and stored. Grows well in northern climates. This variety – and all others – are USDA certified-organic. All of our garlic is suitable for planting, our “seed garlic” bulbs are at least 2 inches in diameter. A full-pound will include 6-10 bulbs.
All varieties of our garlic are not only grown using organic and sustainable methods, but are also certified as organic (see our certificate in this listing). We use no commercial animal-based (such as feather meal or blood meal) fertilizers, in order to create a delicious crop that is truly cruelty free.
