Description
One of our longest storing garlic varieties. Red-streaked cloves on mahogany background with solid red clove tips. Bold flavor with a bit of spicy-ness makes it great for sauces, and pan-frying. The soft neck makes prep for roasting a breeze.
Expect 10-20 cloves per bulb. Stores well for 6-9 months when fully and properly cured and stored. Grows well in northern and southern climates. Because of it’s soft neck, this variety can be braided, for storage or decoration. This variety – and all others – are USDA certified-organic. All varieties of our garlic are not only grown using organic and sustainable methods, but are also certified as organic (see our certificate in this listing). We use no commercial animal-based (such as feather meal or blood meal) fertilizers, in order to create a delicious crop that is truly cruelty free.
